Makes 8 mini burgers
INGREDIENTS
1 pound ground turkey
1 small onion, grated
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon cinnamon,
¼ teaspoon cayenne
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well. Divide the mixture into 8 equal parts. Form a burger patty from each part. Grill on medium-high heat for about 8-10 minutes per side, or until an instant-read thermometer registers 165 Fahrenheit. Serve inside a warm pita bread with tzatziki sauce and feta cheese.
